Byfield School is a rural community school. Our policy is in line with Northamptonshire Country Council and details of this can be found in the booklet 'Applying for a Primary School Place in Northamptonshire or online at www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/admissions .
In Northamptonshire every child is eligible for a place in a school the September after their 4 th birthday. Applications for a place at any Northamptonshire school needs to be made by early December with acknowledgement being made in April the following year.
