Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.

Also, schools receive £1,900 for any pupils:

  • any child who has left local-authority care as a result of one of the following:
    • adoption
    • a special guardianship order
    • a child arrangements order (previously known as a residence order)
  • who has been in local-authority care for 1 day or more

If you believe your child is eligible for Pupil Premium Funding and is not currently receiving it, please speak to the school office.

All of our funded interventions aim to accelerate the expected or better than expected progress for socially disadvantaged children.
